Visiting Taos, we were checking out galleries and meeting artists at receptions. A late afternoon in June the cumulus clouds settled low in a grey-blue sky. This turquise gate beconed cheerfully to us to enter the shaded courtyard with tables set on the patio. Hollyhocks waved in a soft breeze and a chili pepper ristra dried in the last hot rays of the sun. Please share your thoughts about this painting or your experience in Taos.
